5:Processing Method

Incoming material-titanium sponge's check -> melt titanium sponge -> rolling or forging -> straightening -> cutting -> annealing -> pickling.

9.FAQ

1)Q:Can we offer titanium plate as per other standard and grade?

A:We can produce it as per equivalent standard and grade.

2)Q:Can you offer better tolerance for the thickness of titanium plate?

A:Yes,if there is no special requirement for the tolerance,we usually produce it as per standard.But if customer requires better tolerance,we can and sure.But cost will be a little bit high.

3)Q:Can we quote per piece/plate?

A:It will be charged as per actual weight after production finished and weighed.Because there is a difference between theoretical weight and actual weight due to tolerance.

4)Q:How to calculate the theoretical weight of titanium plate?

A:It's [Thickness(mm)*Width(mm)*Length(mm)*Titanium density(4.51)]/1000000.For example,the titanium plate is Thickness2mm*Width1000mm*Length2000mm,the theoretical weight will be (2*1000*2000*4.51)/1000000=18.04(kgs).

5)Q:How can you guarantee your quality?

A:First,we test every batch of incoming material of titanium sponge,and mark the number onto the material.Second our techinician will strictly check every processing of manufacturing if there is any deviation from our advanced and matrue manufacturing process.And finally,we will take a small piece from every batch to do testing and submit a report(EN10204/3.1) if it's fully comply with Standard of ASTM B265,Grade 1.

6)Q:What is the difference between manufactured by Titanium sponge and scrap?

A:Titanium sponge's price is much higher than titanium scrap,so finished product-titanium plate will be also higher than manufacted by titanium scrap.And the quality manufactured by scrap will not comply with the standard.
