Centrifugal fan consists of impeller, air inlet and spiral case. When impellers is rotating, air in the blade channel will move outward under the effect of centrifugal force, then vacuum degree will be the formed in the middle of impeller, the air is inhaled from air inlet shaft. The air turn 90° At the entrance of impeller, then flow into blade channel. Under the effect of blades, the fan gets kinetic energy and pressure energy. Air flow from blade channel flows into spiral case, after concentration and diversion, then exhausts from air outlet. Centrifugal fan increases the air pressure through the input mechanical energy, and exhausts air. It is impulse fluid machine.
